EU accession talks Croatia canceled over border dispute

The Czech EU presidency canceled talks on Croatia's accession to the block following the collapse of border talks between Croatia and Slovenia. The meeting was scheduled for June 26.

Croatia and Slovenia were supposed to have reached an agreement by last week.

Sweden, which will take over the EU presidency July 1, indicated this week it plans no fresh attempt to help settle the dispute.
