EULEX chief: cooperation with Serbia necessary

EULEX chief Yves de Kermabon said that a minimum level of cooperation with Serbia is necessary in order to effectively deal with organized crime along the border between Serbia and Kosovo, such as smuggling. These crimes affect other EU states as Italy and Germany as well. The cooperation with Serbia triggered a demonstration in Pristina earlier this month and EULEX vehicles have been targeted.
