Kosovo elections end peacefully

In Kosovo, local elections were held in 36 municipalities for the first time since Kosovo's declaration of independence in February 2008. Officials said 45 percent of the 1.5 million registered voters cast ballots.

No major cases of violence or fraud were reported.
