Serbia considers border changes Macedonia, Kosovo invalid

Balkanblog | November 28, 2009 - 09:58 | 2 years ago

Serbia's deputy prime minister Bozidar Djelic said that Serbia regrets the fact that Macedonia has recognized Kosovo and added that Serbia will consider any border changes between Kosovo and Macedonia unlawful. He made the remark while attending a conference on European integration in Skopje.

Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt said he does not expect Greece to veto Macedonia's bid to join the European Union because of the long-standing name dispute between the two countries. An ongoing dialog has still not resulted in a solution of the problem.
