KFOR deploys troops to Kosovo-Serbia border

KFOR deployed 100 troops to Kosovo's north in a response to violent incidents between the majority ethnic Albanians and minority Serbs. Serbia's top official for Kosovo, Goran Bogdanovic, called it a provocation and said NATO was waging "a propaganda war." KFOR, backed by local police, manned checkpoints on the main road linking Kosovo and Serbia to search for weapons.
