Bosnia's state prosecutor indicted Nedjo Ikonic for his alleged role in the 1995 Srebrenica massacre. Ikonic — a Serb police commander at the time — allegedly detained Muslims who tried to escape Srebrenica through the woods. He ordered, oversaw and supported the execution of over 1,000 Muslims.
He has been transferred to Sarajevo where he will stand trial.
